FLU and Covid Vaccinations

Our FLU and Covid clinics start from Wednesday 1st October.

FLU Vaccine Eligibility 2025

Flu vaccines will be available from 1st October for all eligible patients, including those aged 65+, people with long-term conditions, and carers. You should have received a text invitation or a phone call if you are eligible for the vaccine.

Flu vaccines are available now for:

  • Pregnant women
  • Children aged 2–3 years
  • Children in clinical risk groups aged 6 months to under 18 years

Protecting young children helps stop flu spreading to siblings, parents, grandparents, and vulnerable family members.

COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility 2025

From 1st October 2025, the NHS is offering COVID-19 vaccinations to those at highest risk of serious illness, including:

  • Adults aged 75 and over (previously 65+)
  • Residents in care homes for older adults
  • Individuals aged 6 months and over who are severely immunosuppressed, meaning that their immune system is weakened because of a health condition or treatment that makes them more vulnerable.

If you believe you fall into one of these categories and have not been contacted, please contact the surgery to check your eligibility.
